Overview

KCAB Next and HK45 are pleased to invite you to a virtual careers talk, where participants will explore and discuss the following topics:

  1. The role junior attorneys could play in assisting with business development, including tips and advice.
  2. What skills should young practitioners equip themselves with in order to be better prepared for an increased demand for arbitration?
  3. Diversity in international arbitration and how to best leverage working with different cultures, nationalities, legal regimes, languages and personalities.

This talk will encourage active participation by the participants - participants will be invited to discuss each of the above topics in small groups on the day. Participants will be allocated into break-out rooms randomly, with senior practitioners assigned to mentor each room. The make-up of each discussion group will be different for each topic!

Please come prepared to make the most out of the virtual careers talk!
