Hyunyang Koo handles a broad range of international arbitration and cross-border litigation matters involving international construction, software license agreements, military projects, international sports-related disputes and etc. Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2016, she worked at Samsung C&T legal team where she handled legal affairs and advice regarding various offshore construction contracts in Australia, North America, South-East Asia, and Middle East. In Lee & Ko, her main area of practice includes international arbitration cases at leading arbitral institutions such as ICC, LCIA, KCAB, SHIAC, CAS as well as ad hoc arbitrations and cross-border litigations. She is currently in secondment at Herbert Smith Freehills in Hong Kong. She will return to Lee & Ko as junior partner shortly.

An Independent Chartered Arbitrator, with offices in Hong Kong and New Zealand, Mr. Kreider has specialised in deciding Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), Intellectual Property (IP), Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Internet Domain Name, and Hospitality and Financial Services disputes since 2006. He is included on the SIAC (Singapore) and HKIAC (Hong Kong) panels of specialist Intellectual Property and Financial Services arbitrators. He has been appointed presiding arbitrator, sole arbitrator, emergency arbitrator, or co-arbitrator in 40+ international arbitration references, including ICC, HKIAC, SIAC and ICDR administered and ad hoc proceedings, and has issued 200+ Internet domain name disputes as a panelist and Expert for ADNDRC (Hong Kong and Beijing), FORUM (USA), Nominet (UK) and CIIDRC (Canada).
Mr. Kreider’s 30+ year professional career includes, inter alia, 14 years as general counsel to telecommunications providers China Mobile (Hong Kong) and Vodafone New Zealand Ltd., respectively. He is a licensed solicitor and attorney-at-law in England, Hong Kong, New York, New Jersey, California, Florida and Washington, D.C. He speaks and reads Mandarin Chinese as a second language, in addition to his native English.

Bernard Tan is Chief Counsel, Integrated Regulatory Office (IRO) at SAP, a market leader in enterprise cloud services and application software with customers across more than 180 countries. He co-leads a global cross-department program designed to make regulatory compliance of SAP Cloud products scalable and sustainable. Prior to IRO, Bernard was Chief Counsel, Cybersecurity at SAP and co-led SAP’s Cybersecurity Legal function.
Before taking on global roles, Bernard was Associate General Counsel for SAP Greater China Region and, prior to SAP, was the Asia Pacific Region General Counsel and Commercial Director for a fintech company.
Bernard is the General Secretary and a Director of ACC Hong Kong. He has served as an IAPP KnowledgeNet Hong Kong Chapter Co-Chair, and has been a speaker at various events on privacy and cybersecurity.
Bernard graduated from Stanford Law School with an LLM degree in Law Science & Technology and from the National University of Singapore with an MSc (eBusiness) degree and an LLB degree. Bernard has been a technology lawyer for over two decades and holds the CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPP/A and CIPM certifications. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Gokce is Counsel in HKIAC’s arbitration team.
Prior to joining HKIAC, Gokce worked for four years at leading international arbitration offices in Istanbul and Washington, DC. She was involved in investment and commercial arbitrations, and gained experience in mining, construction and post-M&A disputes. She also interned at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes and International Chamber of Commerce, Paris.
