Mr. Cheung, an experienced mediator for commercial disputes, is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Director with AMED Consulting Limited. He also practices as arbitrator, adjudicator, expert witness and dispute resolution advisor in the construction and engineering field.

Mr. Cheung is an accredited mediator on the panels of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the Hong Kong Mediator Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL) and Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC). He has been appointed as mediator on a variety of commercial disputes either directly by the parties, through recommendations by the parties’ legal representatives or by HKIAC’s nomination. He has also represented parties in mediation as technical advisor.

Mr. Cheung plays an active role in committee memberships including being the past vice-chairman and past chairman of the construction group in the Hong Kong Mediation Council (HKMC), a sub-division of the HKIAC, promoting the development and use of mediation as an alternative dispute resolution forum in Hong Kong. He is an approved trainer for the Advanced Mediation Training Courses for Stage 1 of the HKMAAL accreditation and is an accredited assessor for Stage 2 of the HKMAAL accreditation.

Jacky has served as a mediator in hundreds of cases. He is Head Trainer and Chief Assessor for TQUK/ Ofqual mediation courses and Assistant Trainer of HKMAAL 40-hour curriculum, HKCAAVQ Mediation Subject Expert, ICC International Mediation Competition Coach and Judge, Professional Mediator on various mediation panels and mentor mediator for JMHO. He is a Committee Member of Hong Kong Mediation Council (Honorary Secretary for term 2021-2022). He is also international mediator on the Shenzhen Qianhai panel, Dongguan panels, CEPA panels etc
