Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) may use any personal data provided by you for any one or more of the following purposes:

  • organising HKIAC events and activities;
  • to send you newsletters, publications, membership benefits;
  • to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires;
  • to send updates about HKIAC or as otherwise necessary to communicate with you.

By attending events organised/co-organised with HKIAC, you will have consented to photography, audio recording and video recordings and their release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotions, advertising, inclusion on websites and social media, or any other purpose by HKIAC. The images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar events in the future.


HKIAC will not transfer and/or disclose your personal data to third parties, save that they may be indirectly accessed by third-party service providers in the course of developing, maintaining, operating and/or hosting our IT systems (such as hosting of our website) or shared with organisations who work in conjunction with HKIAC 's mission, e.g. law firms and law organisations, as more particularly described in our Privacy Policy. Pursuant to the terms of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to and the correction of your personal data held by HKIAC. Requests for access to or the correction of personal data should be made to HKIAC secretariat at events@hkiac.org
