Edward Alder is regularly instructed in international arbitrations as counsel and arbitrator. His High Court practice involves commercial trials, injunctions, asset freezing and arbitration-related applications, jurisdictional challenges and ship arrests, often in the trade and transport sector.
He is a Fellow HKIArb, Panel Arbitrator for HKIAC, CMAC and SCMA and a LMAA Supporting Member as well as a Founding Member and Committee Member of HKMAG.

Anna Kim is a special counsel at Georgiou Payne Stewien LLP focused on international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Anna assists clients on transactions and contentious matters concerning engineering and construction projects, cross-border acquisitions, and joint ventures with a particular interest in IP disputes. She has a good understanding of cross-cultural and multi-jurisdictional issues and has experience handling cases administered by various arbitral institutions.

Lavesh was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2017. Practising from Prince’s Chambers, he is involved in a wide range of disputes, including, intellectual property, commercial, shipping, insolvency and tortious disputes. He has been involved in international arbitrations under various institutions rules, including the HKIAC and ICC rules. He is member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a HK45 Committee Member. Before joining the Hong Kong Bar, he was a Judicial Assistant at the Court of Final Appeal and a Judicial Associate at the Court of Appeal.

Xiaojun is Counsel (Supervisor) in HKIAC’s arbitration team. She has administered over 100 arbitrations in English and Chinese under HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. Xiaojun also regularly acts as Tribunal Secretary in arbitrations administered by HKIAC.

Prior to joining HKIAC, Xiaojun worked as an attorney at international and PRC law firms in Beijing and Hong Kong, specialising in cross-border dispute resolution.

Prior to joining the Bar in 1999 Jeremy was in private practice at Herbert Smith and then Coudert Brothers where he was head of the Litigation Practice in Hong Kong and co-head of the Arbitration Practice covering 9 regional offices in Asia. He has accumulated substantial experience as an arbitration advocate and as arbitrator.
Jeremy has served on the Council of the Bar Association for several years during which he represented the Bar’s position before Legco on matters such as the HK/Mainland Arrangements for Mutual Enforcement of Arbitral Awards, Third Party Funding for arbitration and the ORFSA Rules. He is a member of the Bar’s Committee on Arbitration and also serves as a statutory member of the Higher Rights Assessment Board appointed by the Chief Justice under the LPO.
