East Asia is ripe ground for interim measures applications. From the urgent preservation of evidence to justified or unjustified grounds for suspecting a counter-party is moving assets to avoid liability, there are a multitude of situations in which interim measures become a very powerful tool, and the hive of activity in jurisdictions like Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong goes to show the importance of legal development in this area.

HK45 is pleased to present this virtual event on interim measures, and kindly invites you to join us as we chat to interim measures experts about their experience in their jurisdictions and in the region. We will discuss developments in emergency arbitration, interim measures in both the courts and before arbitral tribunals in Japan and Korea, and the Hong Kong-Mainland China Arrangement on Interim Measures. The discussion will be interactive (polling), and audience participation (Q&A) is actively encouraged!
