Join us for a sunset cruise along the iconic Hong Kong Harbour on the eve of the 2024 ICCA Congress!
Hosted by HK45 and Young ICCA, this exclusive event offers a chance to unwind and network with colleagues and fellow arbitration practitioners while enjoying views of the majestic Hong Kong skyline. Participants will have the opportunity to join aboard one of ten junk boats – one of Hong Kong's most iconic visual symbols - participating in the cruise, courtesy of our generous sponsors Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance, Freshfields, Herbert Smith Freehills, Hogan Lovells, Linklaters, Mayer Brown, Reed Smith, Skadden, and Alix Partners.
The junk boats will be departing at 15 minute intervals between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. The first set of departures will sail the full length of the western and eastern side of the Harbour, while the second set of departures will sail along only the eastern side of the Harbour. All boats will meet in Junk Bay at the eastern side of the Harbour and return to Central for 8:00pm.
Participants will be randomly assigned to a junk boat depending on their indicated departure time preferences and will not be able to change boats during the event. To the extent possible we will try to accommodate all preferences. Drinks and light refreshments will be generously provided by the sponsoring firms providing the junk boats.
Registration is on a first-come-first served basis and the deadline for registration is 22 April 2024. Participants will be informed by 29 April 2024 which departure slot they have been allocated to.
This event is open to all arbitration practitioners who will be in Hong Kong during the 2024 ICCA Congress, regardless of whether or not they are HK45 or Young ICCA members.
