Claudia is a member of HKIAC Council. She has over 27 years of experience resolving complex disputes related to major infrastructure and construction projects, post-M&A and shareholders disputes, distribution and agency claims, and breach of sophisticated agreements in various sectors, including energy and utilities, mining, manufacturing, healthcare and technology. She also often advises investors on international protection in the context of government interference.

Before founding Benavides Mejía Dispute Resolution, Claudia was the Head of the Latin American Disputes practice of a major international law firm with global footprint, where Claudia served thereafter as Global Chair of the global Dispute Resolution practice group between 2019 and 2024.

John is a member of HKIAC Council and Chair of the HKIAC Proceedings Committee.

With over two decades of experience acting as trusted adviser to leading Fortune 500 companies, on their most complex and significant dispute resolution matters, John has a special focus on international arbitration, cross-border investigations and dispute resolution matters with an Asian connection.

He is Head of Freshfields' award-winning China International Arbitration practice, and has also been named "International Arbitration Lawyer of the Year" for Asia-Pacific in the Benchmark Litigation Awards.

María Inés is president of ALARB, among other leading roles.

She is co-head of the international arbitration, administrative law and economic regulation areas at Bomchil in Argentina. She has more than 20 years of experience in the arbitral practice, representing multinational companies as lead counsel or co-counsel both in investments and commercial international matters under the main rules of international arbitration (such as ICSID, ICC, ICDR, UNCITRAL and other rules). She also acts as international arbitrator.

Kiran Sanghera is Deputy Secretary-General at HKIAC and current Co-chair of the Institutions Taskforce and Global Steering Committee Member of the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations (CGA). She previously worked at HKIAC as Special Counsel at HKIAC, where she led the HKIAC's domain name dispute resolution team and oversaw HKIAC's business development activities. Kiran also worked as Counsel at HKIAC handling the administration of commercial arbitrations involving parties from Asia, Europe and the Americas. Kiran was formerly a member of the CGA Green Protocols Taskforce and past Co-chair of HK45 (2018-2020).

Kiran has been identified as one of the future leaders in the field of arbitration in the Asia-Pacific region in Arbitration in 2025 by Who's Who Legal.
