Sheila is a Partner in Allen & Overy’s Global International Arbitration Group based in Singapore and Co-head of the firm's India Group. She has advised on a wide range of arbitration matters, both commercial arbitrations and investor-State arbitrations, as well as arbitration related court matters. Her experience spans most of ASEAN and South Asia, including India, where she spent six months as a Consultant with Trilegal in 2011. She is a Solicitor Advocate, with Higher Rights of Audience before the Senior Courts of England & Wales and the Courts of Hong Kong. She is enrolled in the Bar Council of New Delhi and is also qualified to appear before the Singapore International Commercial Court. She regularly sits as arbitrator, and more recently, as presiding arbitrator. Sheila has particular experience of complex commercial disputes, disputes arising from joint ventures and distributorship arrangements, disputes relating to complex financial products and energy and infrastructure disputes.

Mariel is Secretary-General of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. She is an international commercial and investment arbitration specialist.

Prior to joining the HKIAC, Mariel was a Partner at CMS and Co-Head of the global CMS International Arbitration Group. She has over 15 years' experience acting as adviser and advocate in numerous international arbitrations. She has extensive experience in both common law and civil law disputes, including disputes involving Chinese parties, and has full professional fluency in German. She also sits regularly as arbitrator and has experience as arbitrator under the HKIAC, ICC, KCAB, and DIS Rules, and in ad hoc disputes. She is on the arbitrator panels of several institutions.

She is a past co-chair of the HK45 Committee, and a member of the WILHK Advisory Board. She is consistently ranked in both the regional and global editions of the leading legal directories.

Charles is co-Head of Chambers. Charles specialises in commercial law, and represents clients in both court and arbitration proceedings. His cases tend to be high value and complex, and often involve multiple sets of proceedings in several jurisdictions.

He is recommended in a wide array of disciplines in Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, including international arbitration, commercial dispute resolution, banking and financial, energy, insurance and reinsurance, shipping and commodities.

Charles has represented clients in a wide variety of disputes before the Supreme Court, Privy Council, Court of Appeal and High Court.

Robert S. Pé, FCIArb, is an independent arbitrator and member of Arbitration Chambers (Hong Kong, London and New York). He is regularly appointed in arbitrations under the rules of the HKIAC, ICC, ICDR, LCIA and SIAC, arising out of international commercial disputes, in particular in relation to energy and infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements and sale of goods. He was based in Asia for two decades, served on the HKIAC Council from 2014 to 2020 and is a member of the ICC Court.

Audley Sheppard KC specialises in the resolution of major disputes arising out of infrastructure and energy projects, and international trade and investment. He also sits as an arbitrator.
