HK45 and DIS40 jointly invite you to a webinar on "Interim Measures and Enforcement of Awards in Germany and Greater China". The Mainland China – Hong Kong Interim Measures Arrangement is often named as one of the advantages of Hong Kong as a seat of arbitration. We will discuss the benefits and pitfalls, hear the latest on the enforcement of arbitral awards in China, and compare the experience from China and Hong Kong with the legal situation in Germany.


Topics will include:

  • Interim measures taken by courts in aid of arbitration
  • Enforceability of interim measures ordered by tribunals with a seat outside of the country where the measure will have effect
  • State court assistance in evidence taking
  • Practical experience in enforcing awards in China
