It is expected to last 75 mins (including a Q&A session of 15mins) without a break. Topics to be covered or shared by speakers include:

  • Bias and heuristics;
  • Thinking systems of the brain;
  • Common biases in mediation;
  • How do cognitive biases affect mediation?
  • Strategies to minimize cognitive biases;
  • How the mediator can help parties overcome biases; and
  • Sharing by speakers

The target audience is General Mediators and Legal Practitioners including In-House Counsel.

In order to ensure that participants meet CPD requirements, the lunchtime webinar includes a quiz at the end on the content of the talk.
