Having worked in real estate services for more than 40 years in areas of property management, maintenance, building survey and project management in various organizations, Gary retired from the position of General Manager of Shui On Properties Management Limited in 2018, and joined the THEI as an Adjunct Professor.

He has served the Councils of Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), Surveyors Registration Board (SRB), Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM) and Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC) for some years and prior to his retirement has been holding the position as Vice President (2015-2017) and Honorary Secretary (2017-2018) of the HKAPMC, Vice President (2015-2017) and President (2021-2023) of HKIFM, Honorary Treasurer of SRB (2012-2015), Honorary Treasurer of HKIS (2011-2013) and Past Chairman (2009-2011) of HKIS Property and Facility Management Division.

Steve Lau is an experienced Senior Property Manager who is extremely adaptable with expertise in several functions including estate, facility, mediation, security, and training management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Housing Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate.

Steve is now managing a Property Management Agent Contract in running a Shopping Centre and Carpark premises. He was a member of the Training and Evaluation Committee of the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch and was a Panel Member of the Hong Kong Mediation Centre.

Wilson is an architect, authorized person and project management professional with more than 25 years’ experience. He is also an ITIL Expert, certified Big Data Consultant, certified SAFe Professional and CIC BIM Manager. He had been awarded DBA from Brittany University, VERN University and UCAM University. He completed the Post-Doctorate Research Fellowship from California State University, Monterey Bay, and accepted as Visiting Scholar of the California State University, University of California, U.C. Berkeley and Stanford University in 2021. He served as the Guest Professor of Peking University – Yuanpei Business School and Academy of Experts (for Project Management) from 2020-2023. He has been awarded on Yuanpei Craftsman Senior Expert Think Tank (for Project Management) and listed in the National Joint Integrity Service Platform of the People’s Republic of China in 2023.

Wilson is an accredited mediator of HKIAC, HKMC, HKIArb, HKIA, HKIS, RICS, FDRC, HKMAAL and Lands Tribunal. He is a Fellow Member of HKIArb, AIADR and HKMCL. He served in the Panel of Mediators for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao since 2022. He obtained the LLM (Arbitration and DR) in the University of Hong Kong in 2009. He is an arbitrator, adjudicator, and mediator. He has various experiences in mediation cases on commercial disputes, construction, property management, Lands Tribunal and Compulsory Land Sales. He is a director of the Hong Kong Mediation Council Limited.
