HKIAC has proven to be a popular forum for resolving disputes related to China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). This webinar will provide insights into the types of BRI disputes submitted to HKIAC, and the importance of selecting suitable dispute resolution mechanisms for BRI projects.

Launched in 2013, the BRI has generated significant investment in large-scale projects across multiple sectors in numerous countries. Over the last six years, the BRI has faced some challenges as the projects are exposed to a large spectrum of political, financial and legal risks. Some BRI transactions have already given rise to disputes as the underlying contracts mature.

Join this webinar to hear more about HKIAC's experience of handling disputes that typically arise from a Chinese funded project in a BRI country, and how to mitigate risk through dispute resolution.
