Wendy graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a degree in Social Science and Administration in 1982. She obtained an MSW from the University of Hong Kong in 1986. She is a Registered Social Worker, an Accredited Family Mediator and Family Mediation Supervisor of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and a certified Parenting Coordinator from theCooperative Parenting Institute, USA. Wendy is the Director of Wendy Woodhead Family Dispute Resolution Services Limited.

Wendy has been providing professional child-focused alternative dispute resolution services for over 36 years in Hong Kong and Singapore, helping local and international families resolve difficulties in their relationships during and after the break-up of their marriages. She was a pioneer in the provision of family mediation in Hong Kong. She was one of the first to be invited by the HKIAC in 1998 to be a Family Mediation Supervisor. Since then, she has become a highly sought supervisor, including being a supervisor in the Family Mediation Supervision Scheme of the Judiciary. Since 2010, Wendy has worked as a Parenting Coordinator, appointed by Hong Kong Family Court and others. Wendy was awarded as a Leading Family Law Mediator in Hong Kong in 2019 and 2020 by Doyle’s Guide. Wendy continues to promote professionalism through courses, workshops, and consultancy. Her core values are to ensure the best interest of children are met.
